The productization package. Your product line, set up as a system.
A fixed-price, finite project. We turn the way you design and build a product line into a system: parent designs, variant tables, shop-ready files and validation. Every model after it takes far less engineering time and costs less to build.
Companies that redesign the same product over and over.
If every new model, size, platform or site means another round of engineering, the package pays for itself in the models that follow.
Motorsport, aftermarket and off-road catalogs with a part to make for every platform.
Machines, frames, turbines and water-control equipment re-engineered for every order or site.
Products that sell but are still hand-built, or about to pay for moulds too early.
The system, not just the drawings.
Scoped to what you approve. Everything below stays with you.
Parent designs and variant tables
One parametric parent per product family, on your own design rules. Every model, size or platform is a row in a table.
Cheaper to build
Castings and machined parts to laser-cut, bent sheet metal where it pays. Fewer parts and welds, self-locating tabs, jigs.
Files any shop can build from
Drawings in your format, flat patterns, cut files and BOMs, for your shop or online fabricators.
Stress-tested and signed off
Hand calculations and FEA where loads matter, design checks on every release, CE and ISO 9001 documents where needed.
Tools your team keeps
Variant generator, drawing templates, release checks and research that reruns for the next platform.
What to build next
Market gaps, competitor products and prices, and a first-to-market list, so the families you build are the ones that sell.
A roadmap first, then one family at a time.
Each phase is priced before it starts. You approve, cut or reorder at every step.
- Phase 1Paid roadmap
Your brief, market gaps, design rules from your own parts, families grouped, and a fixed price per family with a ±20% range.
- Phase 2Product families
Parents, variants, design-to-cost, validation and shop-ready files, one approved family at a time. Re-estimated after the first batch.
- Phase 3optionalPlatform retainer
A set number of new models or variants each month for a flat fee, built on the parents you already own.
- Phase 4optionalValidated parts
Stress-analysis visuals for your product pages, so customers can see the part has been checked. Every number reviewed by an engineer.
Fixed prices, clear rules.
How it's priced
- Quoted at a fixed price after a short call; no hourly billing.
- Fixed-fee projects: 40% at signature, 30% at review approval, 30% at release.
- Estimates per family come with a ±20% range. If it runs faster, it costs less; ramp-up overruns are ours.
- Native CAD and full IP transfer with the final payment. NDA on request.
Who does the work
- Daniel Hernandez leads every project and signs off every design.
- Drafters, mechanical engineers and simulation engineers produce variants, drawings and analyses under his review.
- Automation drafts, the engineer signs: every number in a client document is checked.
- A status update every Friday: done, next, blocked, decisions needed.
Before you ask.
How is this different from hiring a CAD freelancer?
A freelancer draws the part you ask for. The package sets up the system behind the whole line: parents on your design rules, variant tables, validation and the tools to repeat it, so the next model doesn't start from a blank page.
Do we keep the files and the tools?
Yes. Drawings, models, variant tables, templates and checks are yours. Native CAD and full IP transfer with the final payment.
We already have engineers. Does this still help?
Often more. We set up the parents, workflows and tools your team uses, so less of their time goes into redrawing variants and more into new products.
Who does the work?
Daniel leads every project and signs off every design. Drafters, mechanical engineers and simulation engineers produce variants, drawings and analyses under his review.
What if we only need one product?
Start with the free productization check or a single family. The package is built to be cut down to what you approve.
Where are you based?
Spain, working worldwide. Fabrication can be set up with shops and online fabricators in Europe, the US and China.
