Every unit is built by hand, and orders pile up faster than we can weld.
Redesign for parts you can order onlineLaser-cut and bent parts, self-locating tabs, jigs: less hand-fitting, more units from the same team.
H7 turns metal product lines into systems. Every new model, size or site becomes a configuration of what you already have: cheaper to build, faster to launch, stress-tested before it ships.
Laser-cut sheet metal, CNC parts and 3D-printed metal can be quoted online and delivered in days. The engineering behind each new model, size or site still starts from a blank page. That's the part we fix.
Set up once on your product line, so every product after it costs less to build and less engineering time to release.
Castings and machined parts redesigned as laser-cut, bent sheet metal. Fewer parts and welds, self-locating tabs, jigs, parts any online fabricator can make.
One parametric parent per family, built on your own design rules. A new model, size or site becomes a row in a table, and the drawings, flat patterns and checks follow.
Hand calculations and FEA where loads matter, sign-off before fabrication, and the drawings and manuals CE marking needs. Every number checked by an engineer.
If one of these sounds like your shop, you don't need more hours of CAD. You need a smarter way to build.

We redesign the product for every model or order.

Our parts cost too much: castings, machining, too many welds.
Cost-down where it countsCastings and machined parts to sheet metal, fewer parts and welds. ~80% lower rotor cost on one turbine impeller.
Customers keep asking for products we don't make.
A product-line roadmapMarket gaps mapped, grouped into families, a fixed price per family before anything is designed.
We're about to pay for moulds, but the design isn't ready.
Productize first, tool up laterValidate and sell with online fabricators; moulds only when design and demand are proven.
Our engineering is slow and nobody really owns it.

Enter →Seven steps, the same for a turbine range, a frame family or a line of aftermarket parts. Each one ends in something you can read, check and sign off.
The family list and the estimate are a proposal: approve, cut or reorder. Only approved families are built.
±20% per family. After the first batch we re-estimate with real numbers. If it runs faster, it costs less.
Research a part depends on is priced separately and only holds back that part.
Every engagement is contracted with H7. You pay for a roadmap, a product family or a lead engineer, never for slow hours.
For brands and equipment makers with a line to extend or cost down: your product line set up as a system, once.
A senior mechanical lead inside your team without a full-time hire, contracted through H7.
Monthly retainer, 3-month minimum.
Send a photo, a drawing or a short description of the product that costs too much to build or can't keep up with orders. We reply with where the build loses time and money and what would change it.
Projects are quoted at a fixed price after a short call. Retainers are billed monthly. NDA on request.
H7 Engineering was founded by Daniel Hernandez, a mechanical engineer who has spent his career making machines and products cheaper to build.
Daniel spent six years at Turbulent, the Belgian vortex-turbine maker, the last four as Head of Structural Validation, and before that headed the design departments at Dynamictech and BASMELCA. Today H7 works with drafters, mechanical engineers and simulation engineers on product lines for hydropower makers, machine builders and product brands, and manages suppliers in Europe, the US and China.
A photo, a drawing or a short description is enough to start. NDA on request.
